Discontinuation of Replacement of Stolen SNAP Benefits

The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) has informed local counties that replacement benefits for stolen SNAP funds are no longer available. This change went into effect on Dec. 20, 2024, due to the passage of a federal spending bill that did not renew funding. Clients with concerns about this change are encouraged to contact their federal representatives, as the decision was made at the national level.
