Please note: 2023 property values do not reflect the SB23B-001 value reductions. An example of a residential property calculation is provided here.
On November 20, 2023, Governor Polis signed SB23B-001. For 2023 property tax year, the legislation temporarily reduces the assessment rate of multi-family residential property and all other residential property from 6.765% to 6.70%, and further reduces the actual value of residential properties from $15,000 to $55,000.

The Senior Exemption is available to those who:
- Are at least 65 years of age before January 1 of the year of the application,
- Owned their home for at least 10 consecutive years,
- And occupied their home as a primary residence for at least 10 consecutive years before January 1.
The Loveland Campus, a t200 Peridot Avenue, is closed today and will re-open to the public tomorrow. Property owners who scheduled an appointment with an appraiser have been notified to reschedule their appointment.
Tax Year 2024 assessment rates are as follows:
- Single Family Residential TBD pending legislation
- Multi-Family Residential 6.80%
- Agricultural 26.40%Renewable Energy (Personal, Commercial, and State Assessed Property) 26.40%.
- Generally, vacant land, commercial and other classifications are assessed at 29%.
