The 2026 General Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Ballots will be mailed starting Monday, October 5. More information about the General Election will be posted soon. Mon, Sep 21 | Early Ballot Pick Up: First day you can pick up a mail ballot at our Office. (A convenient option if you'll be away for the election!) |
Fri, Oct 2 | Mail Ballots Sent Out: Ballots are mailed to domestic voters. |
| Ballot Boxes Open: You can return your ballot at any one of our 24 ballot boxes all across Larimer County. Ballot boxes are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. For a list of ballot box locations, visit our Where to Vote page. | |
Mon, Oct 12 | Replace Your Mail Ballot: If you haven't received your ballot in the mail, call our Office to obtain a replacement at (970) 498-7820. |
Mon, Oct 19 | Vote Centers Open: Vote centers begin opening across Larimer County. For the 2026 General Election, Larimer County will offer 21 vote centers. Vote centers are open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day. Mon, Oct 26 | Last Day to Return by Mail: In order to ensure your ballot arrives on time, Monday, October 26 is the last day our Office recommends returning your ballot by mail. After October 26, we recommend dropping your ballot off at a ballot box or visiting a vote center. |
| Last Day to Request a Mail Ballot: Monday, October 26 is also the last day we can send you a ballot in the mail (if you need a replacement ballot, just registered to vote, or updated the address in your voter record). After this date, you'll need to a visit a vote center to receive your ballot. | |

Thu, Nov 12 | Signature Cures: Last day to cure a signature discrepancy or missing signature, or to provide missing ID. For more information on signature and ID rejections, visit our pages on Signatures and ID. |
Wed, Nov 25 | Final Results: Final results for the 2026 General Election will be posted no later than Wednesday, November 25. |
