The 2026 Primary Election is Tuesday, June 30, 2026. Mail ballots will be sent out starting June 8, 2026. Voters affiliated with the Republican, Democratic, Libertarian, and Unity parties will receive ballots in the mail. Unaffiliated voters will receive two ballots (Republican and Democratic) to choose from but must only vote one. More information about the 2026 General Election will be posted in August. In the meantime, make sure to update your voter registration with your current address and political party affiliation. | Affiliation Deadline: Monday, June 8 is the last day for affiliated voters to change or withdraw their political party affiliation to vote in a different party's primary election. Please note: this deadline does not apply to unaffiliated voters, who will receive two ballots to choose from—one Democratic, the other Republican. Wed, June 17 | Replace Your Mail Ballot: If you haven't received your ballot in the mail by Wednesday, June 17, call our Office to obtain a replacement at (970) 498-7820. |
Mon, June 22 | Last Day to Return by Mail: In order to ensure your ballot arrives on time, Monday, June 22 is the last day our Office recommends returning your ballot by mail. After June 22, we recommend dropping your ballot off at a ballot box or visiting a vote center. |
| Last Day to Request a Mail Ballot: Monday, June 22 is also the last day we can send you a ballot in the mail (if you need a replacement ballot, just registered to vote, or updated the address in your voter record). After this date, you'll need to a visit a vote center to receive your ballot. | |
| Vote Centers Open: Vote centers open across Larimer County. For the 2026 Primary Election, Larimer County will offer three vote centers in Fort Collins, Loveland, and Estes Park. Vote centers are open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.
