FAQs

  1. Larimer County established Climate Smart Future Ready to proactively confront the challenges posed by deteriorating air quality, escalating temperatures, prolonged droughts, and natural disasters. Community feedback emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to bolster existing initiatives and address the socioeconomic repercussions of climate change equitably. While climate change exacerbates these hazards, the concerted action outlined in this plan offers avenues to mitigate and adapt to them. Further insights on why this effort is needed can be gleaned from our comprehensive analysis on Climate Impacts in Larimer County .
