The 8th Judicial District Victims’ Rights Week Committee will host a free community event and candlelight vigil honoring crime victims, survivors, and their families from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 26 in the Canyon West Ballroom at the Lincoln Center.
Residents who have outstanding warrants on certain lower-level offenses will have the chance to clear their warrants, work towards case resolution, and connect with community resources at the Warrant Clearance and Community Resource Fair.
District Attorney Gordon P. McLaughlin announces expanded protocols for Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) investigations. These expanded protocols have been adopted by all 12 law enforcement agencies in the 8th Judicial District, which covers Larimer and Jackson counties.

DA Data Dashboard & Transparency
The Office of the District Attorney for the Eighth Judicial District is pleased to announce our involvement in the national Prosecutorial Performance Indicators (PPI) initiate. This project will provide both internal and external-facing data that provides information to the public concerning our processes and outcomes in order to measure performance towards three goals: Capacity and Efficiency, Community Safety and Well-being, and Fairness and Justice.

DA Wins 2022 Innovation Award
The District Attorney's Office was selected as grand prize winner for the 2022 Larimer County Innovation Award. The award recognizes the Law Enforcement Digital Evidence System (LEDES) that manages data from cameras worn by officers. The Larimer County Innovation Awards Program honors creative methods, ideas, processes, and programs that have been implemented and are beneficial to the county.
