SCOPE OF WORK
Following the 2024 US 287 Safety Assessment Study, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is moving forward with design and construction for safety enhancements between Bonner Springs Ranch Road and the Wyoming state border (Mile Points 362–385).
Improvements are mainly focused on:
- intersection safety
- passing lanes
- shoulder widening
- wildlife collision mitigation
PURPOSE
This project is planned to improve safety between Bonner Springs Ranch Road and the Wyoming Border.
CDOT presented information to the Larimer County Board of County Commissions at their Work Session on January 12, 2026.
