The Health District of Northern Larimer County: Connections Program

Connections supports individuals by referring them to behavioral health care providers across the community. The program has a group of trained behavioral health providers and care coordinators who can provide answers to your questions about mental health or substance use, options for treatment, and support to help you find care for your unique concerns. SummitStone Health Partners

Summitstone operates the Acute Care facility at the Larimer County Behavioral Health Services at Longview Campus. They provide services to people of all ages and are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.  The Longview campus represents a beacon of hope for everyone in the community. Whether you are in crisis or recovery, you can find the right care, right when you need it.

Who Can Get Care?

  • Children, teenagers, and adults.
  • People who are uninsured, underinsured, Medicaid recipients, and those with private insurance.
  • Interpretation services are available for those who speak a language other than English.

  • Behavioral health urgent care
  • 23-hour observation
  • Crisis Stabilization Unit
  • Medically-assisted withdrawal management (formerly known as detox)
  • Substance-use treatment
  • Individual and group counseling
  • Pharmacy/lab

Perinatal Support International (PSI)

Although this is also a national resource, PSI created an Online Provider Directory recognizing that finding a perinatal mental health specialist in your time of need can be challenging. Their directory helps search for mental health therapists, healthcare providers, psychiatrists, doulas, lactation counselors, sleep coaches, and other providers who are interested in your well-being!

All providers have specialized training in perinatal mental health. You can add your insurance, zip code, and other search terms to connect with someone locally who understands what you're going through. Access the directory here
