CDPHE Identifies Larimer County’s First Monkeypox Case
The first monkeypox case in Larimer County has been identified by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE). CDPHE is the lead agency on this investigation and is completing the contact tracing associated with this case. Larimer County Department of Health & Environment’s (LCDHE) role is to facilitate vaccination of any high-risk exposures identified by CDPHE as part of their investigation. The risk of monkeypox to the public is low.
