We offer naturalist led field trips and programs for schools and community groups. Potential topics include: geology, ecology, cultural history, local conservation and more. We can  work with your group to design a program that meets your specific objectives.

For all school, community, or social groups larger than 12, we ask that visitors submit a Request A Date form. Requesting a date helps Larimer County gain more information about your group and recreational goals and helps to ensure safety and the best experience for your group and other visitors. Once received, we'll review your request and determine if the property can accommodate your needs.

For programs or groups that would like to conduct research or collections at a Larimer County Natural Resouces site, and are not requesting a naturalist guide, will need to fill out a Special Event Application . The application fee is waived for educational groups.

Limited funding for school bus transportation is available for Title I schools. Please contact Angela Borland at aborland@larimer.org if you would like to receive information on aid to cover the cost of fuel and labor for your field trip.
