Along with general information about beavers, participants will also learn how an animal that needs riparian habitat can also pose challenges. Beavers Influence their surroundings, and that can be a nuisance. As beavers spread out in adaptation to their changing surroundings, including our own urban community; t's important for us to learn about their behavior, as well as how and why to appropriately deal with the challenges of living with urban beavers. Leave it to Beavers!!!!

LOVELAND — The Larimer County Department of Natural Resources (LCDNR), in partnership with the Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD), is initiating preliminary staging work at Carter Lake in preparation for a multi-year, multi-phase construction project aimed at improving roads and enhancing visitor access at both Carter Lake and Horsetooth reservoirs. The project is partially funded through the Colorado Federal Lands Access Program (FLAP).
Larimer County Department of Natural Resources (LCDNR) is pleased to share that the Bay to Bay Trail at Horsetooth Reservoir opens to the public Friday, May 23.
This spectacular trail travels the peninsula at the southern part of Inlet Bay to the existing swim beach at South Bay, connecting two popular areas through 1.8 miles of natural surface trail.
