The Larimer County Sheriff's Office Civil Process Unit is responsible for service of process, execution of evictions, and Sheriff’s sales in Larimer County, Colorado. 

Our office staff are here to answer questions about these processes, intake requests, and collect fees as needed – however, we cannot provide legal advice. 

Applications have closed for the Fall 2025 Citizens Academy.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office is now accepting applications for the Fall 2025 Citizens Academy. This informational program will start on September 4 and run through November 20.

A Denver man has been arrested for a six-figure scam, and investigators believe other victims may exist in Larimer County and beyond.

In June 2025, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office investigators received information about a suspected fraud that began in January 2025. The adult male victim told investigators that a family friend had introduced him to the suspect, William “Billy” Harris (DOB 12/04/57). Harris reportedly claimed that he had inherited millions of dollars from a wealthy family member, but he needed help paying the taxes before the funds could be released.

A man was injured after crashing his paraglider in a Larimer County field Monday night.

On June 30, 2025 around 7:15 p.m., Loveland Police Dispatch received multiple reports of a paraglider crash north of Loveland. Larimer County Rangers, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Deputies, Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, and Thompson Valley EMS responded to the area near Highway 287 and West 71st Street.

Holiday Closure

LCSO Administrative Offices will be closed on June 19 for the Juneteenth federal holiday. Dispatchers, deputies, and jail staff will continue providing critical services.
