The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Property and Evidence Unit is a dedicated team of three professionals tasked with managing an extensive collection of over 50,000 pieces of criminal evidence, with items dating back to 1977. This unit is entrusted with ensuring the integrity, secure storage, preservation, and appropriate release or disposal of all property and evidence collected by deputies during their official duties. The items managed by this unit encompass a wide variety, including evidence related to criminal cases, personal belongings, and found property.

 

Larimer County investigators recently arrested three men for trying to buy sex from children.

Earlier this week, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office conducted an operation targeting child predators. Investigators posed as minors selling sexual acts on local websites and forums. Over 100 people responded to the listings, and three men arrived at an agreed-upon location to buy sex. They were met by deputies who arrested and booked the men into the Larimer County Jail. These suspects face the following charges:
