Sick employees should be encouraged to get tested for COVID-19 either through a local provider or through Larimer County community testing information. 

Free Lead Testing for Childcares

The Larimer County Department of Health and Environment (LCDHE) is able to assist with testing the water being used in your school or child care facility. Mascarillas en el condado de Larimer

No se requiere el uso de mascarillas en entornos interiores desde el 12 de febrero del 2022. 

Debido a la mejora de las condiciones de COVID-19, los funcionarios de salud del Condado de Larimer han anunciado que la Novena Orden de Salud Pública Enmendada que requiere máscaras en espacios públicos cerrados se expiro el sábado 12 de febrero de 2022.

Flu Shots Available on 2/5 for Those who are Eligible

Flu shots will be available on Saturday, 2/5, for those who are 19 and older who:

  • Have Medicaid or
  • Have no health insurance or
  • Have health insurance that does not cover the cost of immunizations

In-Person Clinic Services Will Resume January 31

To keep staff and patients safe during the omicron surge, in-person clinic services are closed January 18-January 28. During this time, certain services will be available via telehealth. In-person services will resume on Monday, January 31.

 

For time-sensitive needs (such as STI treatment, symptom checks, birth control refills, Depo shots, etc.), please leave a message for our clinical team at 970-498-6709. Messages will be returned within 24 hours.

Bernard Birnbaum, MD

Dr. Bernard “Bernie” Birnbaum, originally from Chapel Hill, N.C., graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He then worked for four years in Chinle, Arizona with the Indian Health Service in a remote area of the Navajo reservation. In addition to practicing full-spectrum family medicine, he worked in a school based adolescent health clinic and served as the Chief of the Department of Family Medicine.

Upcoming Board of Health Meeting

August 19, 2021 will be a hybrid Board of Health meeting. This meeting begins at 6p.m. 

We are taking public comments via email and zoom, in addition to in person comments. Masks are required in 1525 Blue Spruce at all times, regardless of vaccination status. 

Public Comment will be limited to 20 minutes.
