Celebrate Love at the License to Wed Bash

Couples ready to make it official are invited to the “License to Wed Bash” hosted by the Larimer County Clerk & Recorder’s Office Recording Department from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 7, 2026, at the Fort Collins Clerk & Recorder Office (200 W. Oak St., First Floor).

This special Saturday event makes obtaining your marriage license easy, fun, and festive! Whether you’ve been planning your big day for months or decided to take the plunge, the License to Wed Bash is the perfect opportunity to start your marriage journey.

Couples will be able to complete their marriage license paperwork and self-solemnize in a single, streamlined visit. While no officiants will be present, the event will offer a warm and celebratory atmosphere. Appointments are encouraged for the smoothest experience, but walk-ins are always welcome.

Four-Legged Family Members Welcome!

We’re excited to share that your beloved pets can join in the fun, too and are invited to attend with you — you can even add their pawprint as a witness on your marriage license — a memorable keepsake for your special day!
