Notices of Determination (NODs) were mailed out and made available online on August 15th, 2025.

Personal Property Notices of Value 2025

Personal Property Notices of Value were mailed on June 16th, 2025. Please note, the deadline to appeal is June 30th, 2025. All appeal instructions are included directly on the Notice of Value.

Larimer County property owners who receive an email or notice via US Mail from anyone identifying as Larimer County Government, asking property owners to file an appeal and pay any money for property records could be a scam and should disregard these notices.

Public Data Center Data Update Issue

We are aware that some of the tables have not yet been updated to reflect tax year 2025 values. We are working diligently to find a solution and we apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.

The overall housing market in Larimer County has experienced a leveling off for the 2025 reappraisal, and most homeowners will see values fluctuate from a 6% increase to a 6% decrease since the last appraisal.

Qualified Senior Primary Residence: AKA 'New Portable Senior Exemption'

The exemption will be available **IN TAX YEARS 2025 AND 2026** to senior citizens who previously had a senior tax exemption in any Colorado county, and lost their senior tax exemption in the period of time from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2024. The senior citizen must have owned their current primary residence by January 1 of the year of application. The application and instructions are available here and the application deadline for 2025 is March 15.

Changes to the Senior Homestead Exemption, Disabled Veteran Exemption, and Gold Star Spouse Exemption for 2025 will benefit Larimer County homeowners.
