Environmental Planning & Land Use Assessments and Fees

NOTICE of Land Use Fees: Effective April 6, 2026   

Our Environmental Planning team helps ensure that public health considerations are included in land use decisions across Larimer County.

As part of the development review process, the Larimer County Department of Health & Environment (LCDHE) conducts land use assessments to evaluate potential environmental and public health impacts of proposed projects.

Health Care Coalitions are groups of local healthcare and responder organizations that collaborate to prepare for emergencies. HCCs reflect the unique needs and characteristics of local jurisdictions. Coalitions are a key requirement to The Hospital Preparedness Program.

Hospital Preparedness Program is a division of the Office of Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPAR), HPP funding supports Colorado local level healthcare system preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery as outlined in the healthcare preparedness capabilities.

Nurse-Family Partnership is a free, voluntary program that helps first-time moms-to-be. The program pairs them with specially trained nurses who visit regularly, starting early in the pregnancy and continuing until the child’s second birthday.
