Marriage License Services Unavailable in Estes Park

Due to network issues, we are currently unable to provide marriage licenses in our Estes Park office located at 1601 Brodie Ave. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

Important Notice: Upcoming Recording Fee Changes

In accordance with House Bill 24-1269, most recorded documents will transition to a flat fee of $43 beginning July 1, 2025.

To prepare for this change, our office will temporarily pause the recording of documents at 2:30 pm on Monday, June 30. Normal recording operations will resume on Tuesday, July 1.

We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Fraudulent DMV Emails and Text Messages

Coloradans have reported receiving fraudulent emails and text messages impersonating the DMV. These messages falsely claim recipients have unpaid tickets and threaten severe consequences such as prosecution, suspension of vehicle registration, and revocation of driving privileges. These claims are entirely false and designed to intimidate individuals into immediate compliance. Self Service Kiosks Back in Service

All self service renewal kiosks in Larimer County are operational again.

E-Check Payment System Outage

Due to statewide technical issues with our payment system, electronic checks payment can not currently be accepted in person or over the phone. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Check back here for updates.

Vehicle Licensing Services Restored

The statewide outage affecting motor vehicle services has been resolved. In person and phone services are available once again.

A partnership with the Larimer County Clerk & Recorder’s Office and Scouting America Troop 97 has developed an honorable way for community members to retire worn or damaged U.S. flags.
