This information will explain the process and requirements used to add or remove an owner on your Certificate of Title.

Updates to the DMV Online Portal have resulted in some customers receiving email notifications for past renewals. These are legitimate messages and are the result of a system error. If you have already renewed your vehicle registration, no action is required. Information on identifying scam emails can be found below.
Hearings for personal property (furnishings, machinery, office equipment, etc.) can be scheduled in-person, by mail, or by email at cboeadmin@larimer.gov through July 20, 2026.
All self service renewal kiosks across Colorado are currently unable to process American Express card payments. The manufacturer is working with their processing partners to restore this functionality. No other forms of payment are affected by this issue.
A myDMV online account allows customers to manage all their Colorado credentials (driver license, permit, or state ID) and vehicle registration records in one convenient location. This account is optional and several online services are still available without an account. More information can be found at at dmv.colorado.gov/mydmv.
Due to technical issues, registration renewal services are currently unavailable at Colorado MV Express self service kiosks statewide. Please check back here for updates.
All CO MV Express kiosks will be out of service from 7:00 PM Friday 2/13/26 until Tuesday 2/17/26 for system upgrades. More information on the upgrade can be found at www.larimer.gov/drives.
The network issues affecting the Estes Park Vehicle Licensing office have been resolved.
