Self Service Kiosk Check Payments Disabled 9/1/24
As of September 1st 2024, the ITI self service kiosks in Colorado (located in participating King Soopers locations) will no longer accept check payments. All transactions must be completed with a debit or credit card. For more information, see our self service kiosk page.
Join Us Saturday, February 7, 2026 for our License to Wed Event
The Recording department will be hosting a License to Wed event on Saturday, February 7th, from 9am to 1pm in our Fort Collins office. Schedule an appointment by clicking here. Walk-ins are welcome on a first come, first serve basis. Please visit our Civil Union & Marriage Licenses webpage for more information and to complete the online application.
Please note: Licenses will be issued, but officiants and judges will not be present to perform ceremonies.
Limited Availability of Vehicle Licensing Services
Due to technical issues affecting motor vehicle offices state-wide, we have limited ability to provide in-person service at this time. However, we are able to provide service over the phone at 970-498-7878 as well as through our self service kiosks. More information on the services available through the self-service kiosks can be found here. Renewing your registration can also be done online at mydmv.colorado.gov. Vehicle Licensing System Outage
Due to technical issues, the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles is currently experiencing a statewide outage. At this time, we are unable to perform Vehicle Licensing transactions in our offices and over the phone. Please check back here for updates.
Fort Collins Vehicle Licensing Office Undergoing Renovations
Our Fort Collins Vehicle Licensing Office will be undergoing renovations from May 1st through May 24th. In-person services will still be available throughout construction. Thank you for your patience.
Credit Card Payment Issues Resolved
We are no longer experiencing payment processing issues with our credit card vendor and can once again accept credit card and e-check payments. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Congratulations to Julia D. for winning Larimer County's inaugural I Voted Sticker Design contest. Julia is a senior (Grade 12) at Loveland Classical Schools. The Larimer County Elections Department is excited to share her art with Larimer County voters in the 2024 General Election, and we thank everyone who submitted designs and voted in the Ranked Voting election.
