The convenience of submitting your passport application is available at the Larimer County Recording Department located in the Larimer County Administrative Services building at 200 West Oak Street in Fort Collins. We are designated as a Passport Acceptance Facility. All necessary forms are available, and our trained staff can answer your questions. We offer photo services for U.S. passports or visa photos.
Passport Books
A United States passport book is an identity and citizenship document allowing United States citizens to travel internationally and return stateside. It may be used by U.S. citizens to travel by any means to any international travel destination.
Passport Cards
The passport card may only be used by U.S. citizens to re-enter the United States at land border-crossings and sea ports-of-call when arriving from Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean, and Bermuda. It cannot be used for air travel to any of these destinations or for other international destinations.

Current routine processing time is 4-6 weeks. Expedited service is 2-3 weeks.
