Each employee approved for remote work will be required to complete a specific set of remote work training within the first quarter of being approved for remote work. The County provides all employees with standard meeting and communication tools, as well as tools for e-signature:
Employees may also utilize other video conferencing tools based on the vendors the employee works with such as WebEx, GoToMeeting, and Microsoft Teams, while it is appropriate to use these tools, support is not provided for these tools. Consistent with the County’s expectations of information security for employees working at the office, employees working remotely will be expected to ensure the protection of proprietary County and customer information accessible from their home office. Steps include the use of locked file cabinets and desks, regular password maintenance, and any other measures appropriate for the job and the environment. |
