The Open Enrollment period will be from 10/24 - 11/4/2022

The Open Enrollment period for 2023 benefits will run from October 24 - November 4, 2022. It is an active enrollment and all employees are required to complete Open Enrollment if they wish to continue benefits in 2023.

In the event of the loss of a loved one, financial matters are the last thing occupying your mind. Life insurance can provide financial protection for your loved ones when you pass away and be an important part of your overall financial strategy. The various life insurances available through The Standard are listed below.

Group Disability Income Insurance provides you with benefits to replace part of your paycheck when you can't work because of a sickness or injury. When your claim is approved, you will receive either a lump sum, weekly (Short-Term Disability) or monthly (Long-Term Disability) benefit.

  • Encourage employees to ask for help when they need it.  Asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.
  • It’s okay to not have the answer or immediate solution.  It’s okay to say “I’m not sure, I’ll look into that.”  This is much better than making it up.

  • Instead of just figuring out yourself, look to see what other resources or expertise are out there elsewhere in the County.
  • Before implementing new software, system, process, reach out to see what there is elsewhere in the County you could partner on.
  • Collaborate whenever possible.
  • Be curious-ask questions.  When you can learn more about what someone else is doing, it helps you connect the dots for partnerships.
  • Doing what you say you’re going to do.  This is a big part of the success or lack

  • Attitude is everything-positive mindset.
  • Be flexible (whether it’s work life balance, learning opportunities, job duties).  Listen to employees’ needs.
  • Know your staff/coworkers and their milestones, whether personal or professional (when someone has baby, gets married, has death, gets certification, hire anniversary, birthdays).
