Use the Retro Pay form (LCHR-89) to give an employee pay that was earned in a previous pay period.  For example, if a promotion with a pay increase is processed late, the difference between the old salary and the new salary must be paid retroactively.  This is done by using this form.

The purpose of County Records Retention is to provide county agencies with the minimum length of time that county government records must be retained by county officers before records may be legally disposed of. The Retention Schedule establishes a systematic, standard procedure for the retention and disposal of records so that:

Personnel actions are entered into the employee’s record in UKG.  Some of these actions are then sent by workflow to HR Benefits and/or HR Payroll for approval before they will appear in UKG.

The Payroll Deadlines are for normal processing weeks. You will be notified if these dates and/or times change due to Holidays that affect our processing schedules.

Please submit your current PAF’s as soon as you can. This helps with processing time for the HR-Payroll Staff.

Remember to always use the General Emails and Naming Conventions to submit your paperwork.

IRS regulations state that cash awards and gift certificates are a taxable fringe benefit to the employee and must be added to taxable wages. Cash, gift certificates, gift cards, or other cash equivalents which are given to employees as gifts or awards are all considered taxable fringe benefits. Amounts paid to employees as bonuses in addition to their usual compensation must also be added to taxable wages.

Please note that when it comes to cash awards or cash equivalent, there is NO de minimus amount per the IRS.
