In 2018, a diverse coalition of behavioral health stakeholders from Larimer County united to craft a strategic blueprint aimed at tackling the escalating challenges in behavioral health. The resulting Community Master Plan (CMP) for Behavioral Health emerged as a comprehensive five-year strategy to address community concerns. Community partners came together once more to establish Community Master Plan 2.0, a refined iteration building upon the foundation laid by the 2018 report.

Abundance Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals in recovery from addiction. Their aim is to support people during their transition from a treatment center, detox facility, jail, prison, or homeless shelter while they try to put the life pieces back together.

Partners has served area youth and families through supportive programming and services since 1978. In 2022, the Youth Mentoring program, which is partially funded by the BHS Impact Fund Grant Program, served 830 youth, ages 7 to 17 years old, each year through community-based and school-based mentoring programs where youth are dealing with personal, academic, or social issues.

For over fifty years, Housing Catalyst has been addressing the growing need for affordable homes in Northern Colorado. Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), one of the programs Housing Catalyst offers, combines housing with case management and supportive services that include behavioral health services.

Since 2014, Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth of Northern Colorado (SAFY of CO) has been guided by the understanding that children do better embedded in a family and that families are the foundation of strong communities.
